There are lots of activities for families happening at Wakefield Cathedral during the summer holidays:
Wednesday 28 July - Dandelions and Double Yellows Family Activity Day
Artist Helen Thomas will guide you around her beautiful exhibition. There will be two free tours aimed at families at 11.30 and 14.00. There will be art activities throughout the day and indoor and outdoor trails. Everyone is welcome, there is level access for prams, pushchairs and mobility devises from the south door entrance to the cathedral.
Thursday 29 and Friday 30 July - Peregrine Days
Come along to Wakefield Cathedral to find out more about the famous Wakefield peregrines. Meet Francis and Colin from the Wakefield Peregrine Project. For accompanied children over the age of 10 there will be a chance to climb the tower to see where the peregrines nest. There will also be an opportunity to make a peregrine model.
