The main preacher during Holy Week will be Dean Simon. On Monday to Wednesday of Holy Week Simon's talks will reflect on three themes which are at the heart of the pain and potential of Holy Week: our fellowship with Christ; our betrayal of Christ; and our restoration in Christ. Simon will explore these themes through painting, poetry and music. The talks will be given in the context of services that will include some of the Tenebrae Responses by the sixteenth century Spanish composer Tomas Luis de Victoria. Written especially for use during Holy Week, these Responses are a musical exploration of the events of Holy Week. Simon hopes that they will be a helpful complement to his talks.
