14.30 Afternoon Prayers
Wednesday
10.30 BCP Holy Communion (said)
Saturday
20.00 Compline on Facebook.
Sunday
08.00- Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion (said).
09.15 – Common Worship Eucharist with organ and Cantor
11.00 – Worship Online (A pre-recorded short Service of the Word with some music via Facebook and YouTube)

28 July 2020
The Chapter of Wakefield Cathedral has made the difficult but unanimous decision to close the Cathedral Shop with immediate effect.
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought huge challenges for the Cathedral, as it has for many organisations. Sadly, when we re-open the Treacy Hall in September there will be insufficient room for both the Cathedral Kitchen and the Cathedral Shop to operate in accordance with Public Health recommendations and Government requirements. The Cathedral Kitchen will continue to serve the communities of our city and beyond.
COVID-19 Update from the Dean: Face-coverings
27 July 2020
The government announced on Tuesday 14 July that face-coverings in most retail outlets would be compulsory from Friday 24 July. The Church of England’s Recovery Group, chaired by the Bishop of London, issued its own guidance on the use of face coverings on Thursday 23 July. The guidance contains the following statement: We strongly advise that face coverings should be worn by all those attending a place of worship, including ministers, worshippers, staff, volunteers, contractors and visitors, where there may be other people present; remembering that they are mainly intended to protect other people, not the wearer, from coronavirus COVID-19 and that they are not a replacement for physical distancing and regular hand washing.
