Last Sunday morning we said thank you and farewell to Bishop Tony Robinson, who has been with the Diocese of Leeds for 27 years and retires at the end of August. Bishop Tony had this to say to the people of Wakefield Cathedral:
“Dear friends,
Sue and I want to thank you for the wonderful hamper you have us after the service last week.
The Cathedral has been at the centre of the lives of our family over the past 27 years.
We will take great memories of you all as we move into the next chapter of our lives in Essex.”
We wish him the best in his retirement and thank him for his many years of fantastic service.
