The Lady Bolle’s Foundation provides small grant for people aged between eight and 24 who live in the metropolitan district of Wakefield and need financial help while they are studying or training.
Grants may be given for a variety of items or services, such as paying for travel expenses to university, buying books or gym equipment for school or purchasing uniform to assist with study or training.

The Lady Bolles Foundation allows grants to be made for the assistance of persons resident in the Wakefield MDC being at the time of the first grant not more than 24 years of age (with power to continue the grants to 26 years of age) who are in need of financial assistance and who are preparing for, entering upon, or intend to engage in, any profession, trade, occupation or service, by providing them with outfits, or by the payment of fees, travelling or maintenance expenses, or by such other means for their advancement in life or to enable them to earn their own living, as the Trustees think fit.

All completed applications should be received by Friday 01 March 2024 .
All applicants will be contacted regarding their application for funding within two weeks of the latest Trustee meeting.
To enable this Charity to comply with Section 9 of The Data Protection Act 2018 (and other legal directives) it is necessary where an applicant is under 18 years of age for the parent/guardian of the applicant to give this Charity express written consent for the applicant’s personal details to be retained by this Charity during the time that this Charity processes an application for a grant and a reasonable time thereafter. This means that the applicant’s parent or guardian MUST sign this form giving such consent in the place indicated before an application is considered.
