Civic Evensong

The Dean and Chapter of Wakefield Cathedral warmly invite you to a Civic Service of Choral Evensong to mark the Coronation of HM King Charles III. The Lord Lieutenant and Bishop of Leeds will be in attendance. All are welcome.

Coronation Concert

Friday 05 May 19:30

The evening promises to be a joyful musical celebration and an immersive opportunity for visitors to experience the grandeur of the venue alongside stunning music featured in the actual coronation. Tickets to the event are £10 each and booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment. Any tickets left after close of sale will be available on the door, payment by cash only. Coronation Livestream

Saturday 06 May 10:00

Come along to our livestream of the Coronation Service in the cathedral nave; entry from 10:00 for an 11:00 start. Light refreshments served from 13:00 followed by a full peal of cathedral bells at 16:00. This will be a unique opportunity to experience an historic event in an historic building with its own royal heritage. No booking required, all are welcome.
