Since 2015 Wakefield Cathedral has seen Peregrine Falcons nesting on the cathedral tower, with thousands of people from across the world taking a keen interest in the birds’ development year on year.

Thanks to the Wakefield Peregrine Project, the movements and progress of the peregrines and their chicks have been monitored and shared publicly, with 29 chicks hatched over the last seven year period.
