Licensed Lay Ministry service at Wakefield Cathedral

Celebrating Licensed Lay Ministry

The Cathedral was delighted to welcome Licensed Lay Ministers from across the Diocese of Leeds on Sunday 20^th September, for a special Service of Admission and Licensing of Licensed Lay Ministers and Celebration of Licensed Lay Ministry.

The service, presided over by Bishop-elect Toby, was an opportunity to welcome and pray for those newly licensed, while also celebrating and affirming the ministry of all Licensed Lay Ministers serving faithfully across the Diocese.

We give thanks to God for their commitment, service and witness, and pray for those licensed today as they continue their ministry within their parishes and communities.
