Next week Megan Nerlich will join the cathedral team for eight weeks on a full-time placement. Megan lives and studies in Munich, and her course of study involves a period living and volunteering abroad. Here is what Megan says about herself:
I am a 25-year-old teaching student from Germany. Since receiving my BA in Theatre Studies from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, I have been working towards qualifying as a grammar school teacher for English, History and Latin. As part of my studies I am required to spend time abroad as well as complete a 320-hour placement in a non-pedagogical field. I am looking forward to volunteering at the cathedral after having done previous volunteer work as a firefighter, lifeguard and junior football coach (ages 4-11).
We look forward to having Megan with us!
