Installation of the Dean

The Revd Canon Dr Philip Hobday became Dean of Wakefield on Saturday 10th January 2026 when he was licensed by The Right Revd Dr Toby Howarth, Acting Bishop of Leeds.  The new Dean will be welcomed in his role at the Installation Service at 14:00 in the Cathedral and all are welcome.  Please pray for Hannah, Philip, and the family – and the whole Cathedral community – during this time of change for us all.
