It’s been great to come back after two weeks’ holiday (where it only rained one day!) and people have been very kind in asking whether we had a nice break.
I’m old enough to remember when this title song by Bob Dylan came out. What I didn’t know is that the first time it was played in concert was in Carnegie Hall.

‘The Future is Dairy Free’, or so says the headline for World Plant Milk Day 2023. Whilst I knew that there were lots of alternatives to cow’s milk, I had not been aware of this particular day in the calendar.

We’re delighted to announce that the Bishop of Leeds has appointed two new honorary canons for Wakefield Cathedral: the Revd Ben Rhodes, Head of Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and the Revd Hugh Baker, Vicar of Mirfield and Joint Area Dean of Dewsbury and Birstall.
